Shields Property Services looks after Transcona properties in every season. Spring cleanups and aeration wake the yard up after winter. Summer mowing and landscaping keep it sharp. Fall leaf cleanup buttons everything up before the snow flies.

And when winter hits, straightforward snow plans with clear triggers keep your driveway and walkway clear, with optional complimentary vehicle snow brushing on request — within 12 hours of snowfall ending.

Meet the owners

Nicholas and Kathryn Shields

Hi — we're Nicholas and Kathryn Shields, the husband-and-wife team behind Shields Property Services.

We moved to Transcona two years ago from Winkler, and it didn't take long to feel like home. Before starting this company, Nicholas spent years as a painter in the manufacturing sector, then moved into landscaping and snow clearing — work he's still in today. There's nothing he likes more than getting out during a storm and helping neighbours dig out.

Kathryn is our Chief Operating Officer. She runs everything behind the scenes so Nicholas can stay focused on your property.

We're also proud parents to a two-year-old daughter — who we hope will take the reins herself one day.

When you hire us, you're not getting some random crew. You're getting us: professional, reliable, and damage-free, every single visit. That's personal.
